The quick ratio is the ratio between quick or liquid assets and current liabilities. A company with a quick ratio of less than 1 cannot at the time fully pay its current liabilities or short-term obligations. This ratio is considered to be a much reliable tool for assessment of liquidity position of companies.

The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the FTSE Utilities Index, FTSE All-Share Index, and the Dow Jones World Utilities Index. It was formerly known as Utilico Investments Limited. UIL Limited was formed on August, 2003 and is domiciled in Bermuda.
