The book value of a company is the value of its assets according to its balance sheet account balance. Book value per share will increase if the additional shares are issued at a price higher than the pre-existing book value per share. The purchase of its own shares by a business will decrease total book value. Book value per share will decrease if more is paid for them than was received when originally issued. Dividends paid out will decrease book value per share value.

The fund aims to generate returns through tax free dividends, by investing in a portfolio of new electricity generation projects in the very short term as well as longer term energy related infrastructure investments such as smart meters, and solar power generating systems supported by the United Kingdom government's Feed-in Tariff scheme.
